Count Junkula is a friendly vampire who just loves junk. He’s building his castle out of junk, and he wants as much as he can get! OUR HISTORY AND GROWTH

Count Junkula started as a solution to a problem. Chad and Jason, who met in high school and went to college together, had been running a pressure washing business for the past ten years. They wanted to add a service offering that wasn’t seasonal and also didn’t require the dangers of climbing ladders and working with chemicals. Junk removal seemed to check all the boxes; they just needed a name. During a brainstorming session on the way back from a surf trip, on of them suggested "Junk Dracula" and the other suggested "Count Junkula" and wallah, Count Junkula was born!

During a brainstorming session on the drive back from a surf trip, they started thinking of names. Eventually, one of them said Junk Dracula and the other came up with Count Junkula. The name was so hilarious that they both laughed about it for a couple of weeks and then finally decided to go with it. They hosted a logo design contest online and once they saw the logo, they knew they had a winner!
